| THEIVES AND LIARS..FAILED COMMUNICATION WITH CLIENT |
Time past almost a month...Never contacted me of transport date so I contacted Red Carpet via email to tell them I was flying out ot pick up my car.....then they call me and said they had a date, had emailed, called both of my phones, left a message for this date first story was around noon then changed their story to minutes before I confirmed my flight....all lies....of course I checked all of the emails etc before I booked my ticket....it would have been so much easier to have the car transpoted but I had already bought the ticket. So minutes after this discussion they DEDUCTED $159 OUT OF MY VISA FOR THEIR COMMISSION WHICH IS NOT WHERE WRITTEN IN THE CONTRACT. WHAT IS WRITTEN IS NO MONIES WILL BE DEDUCTED NO DEPOSIT UNTIL AUTO IS ACTUALLY ON THE CARRIER. WELL, BOTH THE WASHINGTON STATE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE AND THE STATE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE CONSUMER COMPLAINTS HAVE ALL OF THIS INFORMAION.
THIS WAS THEIR HUMAN ERROR NOT MINE, I UNDERSTAND THE COMMISSION WORLD AND BUSINESS ALL TOO WELL AND HAD HONORED THEIR POSITION DID NOT CONTACT ANY OTHER CARRIERS BUT THEY COULD NOT HONOR THEIR ROLE IN THE FOLLOW THROUGH AND THEN TOOK MY MONEY FOR WHAT. DO YOU REALLY THINK THE CARRIER WAS NOT GOING TO TRAVEL FROM FL TO LA WITHOUT ANOTHER PICK UP TO MAKE A FULL LOAD. GREEDY LITTLE WOMEN.
THESE BROKERS ARE LOOSE CANNONS IN MY OPINION. THIS IS INDUSTRY IS NOT FOR THE ONE BUT DESIGNED FOR AUTO DEALERS.

We are not LIARS nor did we fail in communication. Our driver called on this load at 12:57pm, once all paperwork was done and pick-up was finalized at 3:37pm we sent out a dispatch notification via email and called both numbers provided by the customer, one at 3:37pm and the second at 3:40pm to inform them that their vehicle was scheduled to be pick-up. The customer answered neither of the numbers provided so messages were left on both numbers giving them all information and asking them to please return our calls. At 4:53pm that same day we received an email cancelling the order. We called the customer immediately upon receiving the email to let her know once again that her vehicle had been dispatched. She said due to our (NON_COMMUNICATION??????????) of the fact that the order had been dispatched she was relieved of the cancellation condition and cancellation fee involved. She told us she had made plane reservations for her son to pick up the vehicle and that this was now going to also be a family vacation time for them. We let her know per our terms and conditions which she agreed to at the time of placing the order she would still incur the $159.00 cancellation fee if she still chose to cancel the order. She was very angry at this point. I explained that we had tried to contact her through every avenue she had provided and that since she had cancelled after the vehicle was dispatched there was nothing I could do. We let her know she should have cancelled the contract prior to making other arrangements not after the fact. This is all clearly stated in our terms and conditions. When she stated she still wished to cancel the order the cancellation fee was charged to her CC as is pursuant to our terms and conditions. We go over this information with our customers and when placing their orders they have to agree to our terms and conditions twice before the order is accepted. If we had failed in any part of our contract with this customer than yes we would have been in the wrong, we did not. It is unfortunate that she chose to go about her plans before she took the proper steps to relieve herself of a contract which she agreed to and is bound to by law. This is why companies have terms and conditions and just because the customer fails to abide by them does not relieve them of their responsibility to adhere to them. We did our job, unfortunately it took a bit longer to find a carrier to take her vehicle. We do however state that it TYPICALLY takes 1-10 business days but this is no guarantee and could take longer depending on the locations of pick-up and delivery.
Mary I am sorry you feel you have been wronged. In leaving this review on this site you are the one who has wronged our company and slander our name. There are repercussions to this and we will take all steps neccesary to clear it should you continue to do so.
This industry is for everyone not just dealers. I would hope when reading the reviews you would take into account our reputation as a whole and not based on one individuals attempt to hurt our company do to their own decision to disregard a contract they willing agreed to be bound too. |
